The organist Txema Riera has returned to the studio to record the new album Allegoria, a collection of originals that highlight the evolution of this organ trio, who since their first release have become a reference point on the current jazz scene.

For the album Txema Riera has invited the well-known saxophonist Santi de la Rubia to join the group made up of Danny Pérez on guitar and Roger Gutiérrez on drums. This recording sees the group evolving towards a more contemporary language.

The music on this album resonates from Txema Riera’s daily life and strives to pay homage to those around him who have guided him on his journey; they are the genuine protagonists of Allegoria.

Allegoria was recorded for the Underpool label which has taken great care to make this their first release on vinyl. It was recorded and mixed by the producer Sergi Felipe and mastered at the Greenwood Underground studios in New York by Eivind Opsvik.

L’organista Txema Riera ha tornat a l’estudi per enregistrar el seu nou disc Allegoria, un recull d’originals que ens mostren l’evolució d’aquest organ trio, que des de l’edició del seu primer treball Terror ha esdevingut referència de l’escena jazzística actual.

Txema Riera, acompanyat pel guitarrista Dani Pérez i el bateria Roger Gutiérrez, ha convidat el seu company i reconegut saxofonista Santi de la Rubia a afegir-se al grup per interpretar els originals que formen part d’Allegoria, un treball en el qual aquest quartet evoluciona cap a l’exploració d’un llenguatge més contemporani.

La música d’aquest disc ressona a la quotidianitat que envolta a Txema Riera, una quotidianitat que marca el ritme d’aquest disc, que vol homenatjar els que l’envolten, els que marquen el seu camí, els autèntics protagonistes d’Allegoria.

Allegoria és una edició del segell UnderPool que cuidant tots els detalls per primer cop ho fa en format vinil; ha estat enregistrat i mesclat pel productor Sergi Felipe i masteritzat als estudis Greenwood Underground de New York per Eivind Opsvik.

El organista Txema Riera ha vuelto al estudio para grabar su segundo disco Allegoria, un conjunto de originales que nos muestran la evolución de este organ trio, que des de la edición de su primer trabajo Terror se ha convertido en grupo de referencia de la escena jazzística actual.

Txema Riera, acompañado por el guitarrista Dani Pérez y el batería Roger Gutiérrez, ha invitado a su compañero y reconocido saxofonista Santi de la Rubia a sumarse al grupo para interpretar los originales que forman parte de Allegoria, un trabajo en el cual este cuarteto evoluciona hacia la exploración de un lenguaje más contemporáneo.

La música de este disco resuena a la cotidianidad que acompaña a Txema Riera, una cotidianidad que marca el ritmo de este disco, que pretende homenajear a los que le rodean, los que marcan su camino, los auténticos protagonistas de Allegoria.

Allegoria es una edición del sello UnderPool que cuidando todos los detalles por primera vez lo hace en formato vinilo; ha sido grabado y mezclado por el productor Sergi Felipe y masterizado en los estudios Greenwood Underground de New York por Eivind Opsvick.
