Iago Aguado Quartet és el resultat d'un procés creatiu introspectiu, alimentat per les emocions i els desitjos, del que ha sorgit un projecte musical de caràcter íntim en què la sensibilitat, l'estima i la sinceritat són els trets principals.

Les onze composicions originals que trobarem a Festina lente mostren diferents paisatges plens de textures, colors i ambients. Tots ells formen part d'una banda sonora on el diàleg pausat i ple de matisos n'és l'argument.

David Mengual, David Soler i Oriol Roca són els músics idonis que proporcionen la cohesió, la complicitat i la comprensió, aportant un caràcter íntim al projecte gràcies a la subtilesa i la musicalitat de cadascun d’ells.

Iago Aguado Quartet is the result of an introspective creative process drawing on emotions and desires. The result is.a highly intimate project of which sensitivity, esteem, and sincerity are the main features.

The eleven original compositions found on Festina lente feature different landscapes full of unique textures, colours, and atmospheres. Together they form a sound scape made up of a relaxed dialogue full of subtle detail.

David Mengual, David Soler and Oriol Rocas are the perfect musicians to collaborate here, providing cohesion, complicity, and comprehension. They bring an intimate feel to the project, thanks to each of their great subtlety and musicality.

I listened to Greg Foat before and really liked his waterfall-like piano style in the Hampshire and Foat Albums. On this album you'll also get to hear nice lyrics and a mixture between folk and jazz as well as the can-like drumming from the Heliocentrics' drummer. Yeah! StrangeFlow
