The guitarist Jorge Abadias presents his most recent collection Retrato.

This new disc brings together ten original pieces which emerge from this moment in his artistic process; a result of the experiences he has shared with some of the most outstanding musicians on the jazz scene today.

Jorge Abadias has wanted to grasp each and every one of these moments. He has brought them together as a collage of pieces featuring different musical groups, each one connected to the others as expressions arising from Abadias' compositions.

Through the strength of his musical vision and the presence of these excellent musicians, Retrato offers us a unique opportunity to share with him his experience of here and now.

El guitarrista Jorge Abadias presenta Retrato, su último trabajo discográfico, un disco que recoge diez canciones originales que explican el momento artístico que vive actualmente.

Retratro surge de un momento vital y musical en el que Jorge Abadías ha compartido su repertorio con algunos de los músicos más destacados del panorama jazzístico actual.

Abadias no quiso renunciar a ninguna de estas experiencias y las ha recopilado en este disco grabando con diferentes formaciones donde sus composiciones son el hilo argumental.

A Retrato disfrutaremos de la fuerza de las composiciones de Jorge Abadías que apoyadas por el talento de los músicos que lo acompañan logran transmitir las vivencias musicales de este talentoso guitarrista.

Utterly suwheeet performance! Most of these tracks feel and sound more laid back, relaxed (& slower?) than other versions. It's an incredible album! But then it would be wouldn't it? They NEVER disappoint. Jonathan Pryor
