Solo Bill McHenry és el resultat de dos dies a l'estudi UnderPool on el saxofonista americà mostra el seu imaginari més personal, d’una manera propera i sincera.

Des d'un bon principi les sessions de gravació d’aquest disc van voler deixar constància de les vivències quotidianes d'aquest músic, sense mostrar cap filigrana, tot el contrari, l'objectiu era enregistrar els moments més íntims on es troben el músic, el seu instrument i la seva imaginació.

Bill McHenry és un músic experimentat en fer concerts sol, ho ha fet en moltes ocasions i també de manera regular a Robadors 23. Aquests concerts són una experiència sonora, que no deixa indiferent, digna de ser enregistrada. Aquest ha estat l'objectiu d'aquest disc captar l'essència d'aquests concerts, captar l'essència de la seva música.

Solo Bill McHenry is the result of two days in the UnderPool studio where the American saxophonist shows his personal imagery openly and sincerely.

From the beginning the recording sessions wanted to capture the daily experiences of this musician, playing in the dining room of the house, practicing, imagining, without pretending to show his most audacious abilities, just the opposite, the objective was to show the most personal moments and deep encounter between the musician, his instrument and the imagination.

Bill McHenry is an experienced musician in the field of Solo, he has given concerts of this kind in many occasions and he has done it regularly, also in Barcelona Jazz Club Robadors 23. These concerts are a sound experience, which leaves no indifferent, worthy to be embodied in a phonogram. This has been the objective of this album, to capture the essence of these concerts, to capture the essence of their music.
