The collective band Vibe will be releasing their new album „Moonstone“ on July 19th 2023. This new generation of musicians is excited to share their vivid and lyric music.

From Germany, Spain and Switzerland, the five band members all share a passion for Black American Music and an eagerness to explore their way of musically interacting with each other. The project started as a quartet and has developed into this quintet over the years, which consists of Félix Rossy, Benedikt Jäckle, Leandro Irarragorri, Calvin Lennig and Jonas Kaltenbach. After "Live at Mehrspur" and „Incognita“, „Moonstone“ is the third album that has emerged out of this musical friendship.

During the process of preparation and recording the members looked more deeply into the aspects of composition, arrangement and collective band work. They wanted to get a deeper understanding of how to blend sonically and fit in rhythmically as instrumentalists.

Becoming more experienced and skilled as composers and arrangers also enabled them to construct and share more detailed musical visions and ideas. The songs on this record were brought to the group by most members and were explored during concerts in the beginning of 2022, until they reached their shape in which they were recorded during the session at Underpool studio in Barcelona.
