Horacio Fumero is one of the most recognized double bassists in our country, a musician with a long career who has accompanied a multitude of soloists with his double bass, including the great Tete Montoliu. Over time he has become a teacher and reference for different generations of musicians.

Solo Bass Songs, in some way, perhaps becomes a contradiction in Horacio Fumero’s career, because for the first time he assumes the role of soloist in an album where he performs a repertoire full of genuine stories, that come from within and that describe his musical personality.

In this album, this musician of argentine origin shows his Atlantic and Mediterranean outlook in equal parts, elevates the essence of folklore to its maximum expression and reminds us that music is also a combination of identity, experience and time.
